Franklin United Methodist Church’s Children and Youth Sunday School provides a welcoming learning environment where young people can study the Bible consistently, grow in their faith, and prepare to become disciples of Jesus Christ.
All children and youth are invited to join us!
Children and Youth Sunday School
Growing in Faith. Learning God’s Word. Building a Strong Foundation.
Learning Scripture for Life
Our Sunday School theme is Books of the Bible.
Students explore stories and teachings from the Old and New Testaments while learning how Scripture relates to their lives today. They become more confident finding Bible passages, identifying the books of the Bible, and understanding God’s Word.
Lessons use a variety of creative learning activities, including:
Bible games
Visual illustrations
Crossword puzzles
Word searches
Scripture memorization
Practical discussions about applying Scripture to everyday life
These activities help students develop their biblical knowledge while strengthening valuable comprehension and critical-thinking skills.
How Sunday School Works
Franklin offers a hybrid Sunday School program that combines weekly virtual lessons with monthly in-person instruction.
Weekly Virtual Lessons
New lessons are emailed to students and parents each Sunday. Students complete the activities at home, and teachers provide answers and guidance virtually and during in-person sessions.
In-Person Sunday School
In-person lessons are held on the third Sunday of each month. Children and youth can learn together, review their weekly lessons, ask questions, and participate in group activities.
Join Sunday School
Families are encouraged to visit an in-person session or register their children for weekly virtual participation.
